I love the holidays! Now that things have slowed down some, I’m glad to have found the time to sit down and continue writing my book chats. My Christmas started out rocky but definitely turned out to be one for the books. I would love to tell you guys the awesome books that I got for Christmas but I will be posting a Christmas Book Haul very shortly! I got to spend time with both mine and my boyfriend’s families and I got to catch up with some of my great friends. With one friend’s new engagement and another friend’s new baby born on Christmas Eve, I already get the sense that 2017 is going to be a wonderful year; one that I am ready to face. I have so many ambitious projects that I would love to tackle this year and I’ve already got myself a list of New Year resolutions. Though my list may seem long, there is one thing that I will most definitely do in the New Year. I will keep growing. I will forgive and I will love. There’s one thing that I love about reading and that is for the most part, you learn a lot within the pages of a book. This year, I will be the best that I can be and let my heart lead me.
“What necessity is there to dwell on the Past, when the Present is so much surer – the Future so much brighter?”
– Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
What are your New Year resolutions?
