What I'm listening to: Closer by Chainsmokers ft. Halsey
Drink of the day: A Glass of Water
How I'm feeling: Discouraged
Alright, do you remember back when I mentioned something about how one of the reasons I don't like reading on my tablet is because the battery dies really often? It's not just tablets that give me trouble, guys. I've always had this war against technology. It's kind of ironic since I like blogging and a I work with technology on a regular basis. Today was probably the most discouraging when it comes to electronics. My phone is showing signs of breaking as it keeps blanking out throughout the day. I decided to use my USB stick that can hold SD cards in order to save all of my pictures and put them on my laptop for the time being. It's been a while now that the USB ports on my laptop seemed faulty as they continuously disconnected whatever I was using. However, general USB sticks didn't seem to give me trouble so I thought, hey, I'm in luck! Nope. So now I'm starting to think I should probably invest in a new cellphone and laptop which is too bad because I was actually thinking of putting money aside to buy myself a Kindle eReader. (Which one would you recommend? I can't decide!)
On another note, today kind of inspired me to do the 90 hour challenge. I'm not sure if it's actually a thing but I've seen it on Buzzfeed where they went through 90 hours without internet/cell phones. It's all inspired by the Passengers movie that's coming out soon which I am definitely wanting to see! In the movie, they end up waking up 90 years too early and so they have to spend their next 90 years together. I'm thinking of doing something similar. I'm going to dedicate 90 hours to no internet and cell phones and hope that it'll give me a lot of time to focus on things that need to get done around the apartment, read books, write blog ideas, read books, maybe watch a blu-ray with my boyfriend or tackle by huge TBR pile. My boyfriend said he might join me but he's not sure yet. Either way, I'm pretty excited to do this.
How many books do you guys think I'll be able to read in 90 hours without any internet distraction?
