For November, the book of the month will be Endgame: The calling by James Frey and Nils Johnson-Shelton. This book looks very interesting and I am really excited to dive right into it. From what I've heard, it's a dystopian read for fans who have enjoyed books such as The Hunger Games and Divergent. Every generation, twelve people are ready in case Endgame happens. Originally thinking it would never happen, it all changes when meteors start to strike all over the planet with a message that Endgame has officially begun. I will post a review on this book on the 27th of this month so stick around! If you have decided to read this book along with me this month or if you have already read this book, please don't hesitate in commenting your thoughts on the 27th! Also, let me know in the comments here if this novel seems like something you would be interested in reading.
Book Subscription Box!
In another announcement, I have just subscribed to a YA book subscription box called Uppercase Box. I've read a lot about different kinds of book subscription boxes but I felt like this one in particular will suit me more than the others. While a lot of the others aim for a certain theme every month, this one aims to choose to best newly released YA book of that month or possibly the previous month. Along with the book, they also send book related items and the book will either be signed or have a signed bookplate that you could put in the book. From the previous boxes that they've had, they've all been books that I've already read and absolutely loved or are books that are on my TBR list. With this said, I'm going to be trying it out for the first time this month so when it arrives in the mail, I will post somewhat of an "Unboxing" here on my blog to share my experience and what I thought about it. If I like the subscription, I will keep doing it and so every month will have an Uppercase Box Unboxing and a review sometime later on. Needless to say, I am very excited to see what I will receive in the mail!
