My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows
The first half of this book felt very slow for me at first but once it started to pick up, I couldn't put it down! It's incredibly funny and I highly recommend this one if you're looking for a really fun historical fiction novel!

2. Butter – Name a book that has a really rich and great plot.
Firstlife by Gena Showalter
The plot in this series is so well thought-out and so incredibly vast. I'm going to be reviewing Lifeblood, the second book of the series soon and it's definitely a series you don't want to miss!

3. Eggs – A book that you thought was going to be bad but it ended up being very good.
The Jewel by Amy Ewing
I'll be honest and say that this was a cover-buy. I had read The Selection series at the time and the cover seemed similar and was very pretty. The general plot seemed interesting but the low-rated reviews kind of pushed me away and left it on my shelf for too long. It was such a unique read!

4. Sugar – Name a book that is just so sweet.
Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch
I'm currently reading this one and I'm in love with this book. It's such a sweet story that brings out a lot of emotions and you feel like you're really there in Florence, Italy. I ended up staying there for a month a few years back so reading this really brings back memories. It's a beautiful book and I can't wait for Love & Luck!
5. Icing – Name a book that covers every element that you love in a book.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
I chose this book because even though I've never been too fond of shows such as The Bachelor, this book contained literally all of the elements that I adore in a book. It has romance which is a must for me. It's considered a fantasy, a dystopian novel and even has royalty in it. If a book has royalty and/or romance, you will find it on my shelf or on my to-buy list.
6. Sprinkles – Name a book or a book series you can turn to when you need a little bit of a pick me up when you're feeling down.
All of Colleen Hoover's Books
Colleen Hoover has such a talent in creating stories that allow you to truly immerse yourself and fall into the story wholeheartedly. If I ever have a day where I'm down and I need something to keep my mind occupied, I would definitely dive into the wonderful world that is a CoHo book. It may break your heart at times and put it back together with lots and lots of tape but in the end, you always find love and comfort in her words.
I've reviewed one of her books so far if you'd like to check it out!
7. The Cherry on Top – Name your favorite book so far that you've read this year.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
This book is amazing and if you haven't read it yet, you really should! Like, right now! It's incredibly fantastical and full of magic and it's just so, so good.
I've written a mini review of it right here!
