1. What was the last book you marked as ‘read’?
King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard
This was my most anticipated book of 2017. I literally showed up at the store right before they opened at the day of its release just so I can be the first there to pick it up. Now that I've read it, I'm still fighting a book hangover. I loved it so so much.
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
This is our book pick for February! Our book club is already on Friday and I've been slacking so much this month... Everyone else in the group seems to have already finished reading it and I can't wait to join in on the conversation.
Delirium and Ringer, both by Lauren Oliver
I've heard so many good things about Delirium and it's been on my mind for a while now. As for Ringer, isn't the cover of Replica's sequel absolutely stunning??
Either The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco, Caraval by Stephanie Garber or The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles.
I used to but I recently started using a feather rating system!
Yes I am! I’m going to try to read 55 books this year. I was one book short last year and so I didn’t want to raise it too high but so far I think I’m doing pretty good. I’ve read 12 so far.
7. Do you have a wishlist?
I do. I have a list of the ones I absolutely need that include books already released and some that will be coming out in the next year. Currently, the list has about 32 titles but it doesn't include the many sequels of books I haven't had the chance to read yet.
8. What book do you plan to buy next?
I’m going to be waiting until my birthday to buy more since it is fast approaching. I only asked for gift cards this year and there are like 13 books that I would love to get. To name a few, I am definitely going to buy Scythe by Neal Shusterman, Talking As Fast As I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (And Everything in Between) by Lauren Graham and the two last installments in the Firebird trilogy by Claudia Gray.
Some of my favorite authors are Victoria Aveyard, Ann Aguirre and Colleen Hoover. If you haven’t followed Colleen Hoover on Facebook, you definitely should because she’s hilarious.
I’ve only joined two groups on Goodreads but I’m not as active as I would like to be. I’m in the Bloggers Unite group and in another called Gena Showalter Fans
