Then why was he hiding from her?” – Honey by Cary Marc Grossman
(I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.)
Benjamin Scream, a talented and highly successful rock star, has been through a lot in his life. With the initial thought that he wouldn’t be able to find love in his life again, his eyes linger briefly on the young actress Honey Clarke. Though he is probably twice her age, she is wise beyond her years and can show him a thing or two about love. The only question is, after everything, will he have the strength to let her in?
This book was very steamy, to say the least. You can tell that Honey was exactly who Scream needed in his life but he had so much trouble opening up and the struggle itself was very perceptible. You really get to know these characters in depth and I feel like it’s a very important element to have in a book. It really helps the reader connect to the story and get a sense as to how they feel, knowing full well what they’ve encountered. I absolutely loved the ending. I won’t go into detail since I don’t want to spoil anything but I’d like to say that it was so wonderfully planned out, well-thought and it was a stunning finale.
If you are a big fan of romance and don’t mind the sizzling heat throughout the story, I highly recommend reading Honey!
This book deserves a high 4 out of 5 rating!
