The order that they will be in are based on the order from which they have been read and not because I like one more than the other.
To Catch a Pirate by Jade Parker
I have probably read this book over 5 times and it had never failed to make me smile every time. This is a good book for those of you who love the Pirates of the Caribbean series. The story revolves around this young woman named Annalisa Townsend who was witness when pirates set upon her father's ship and stole his treasure. One pirate in particular had seen her and tried to take her necklace but took a kiss instead. A year later, she sets off to find the treasure that was stolen. What she doesn't expect is the hold that James Sterling, the pirate who stole a kiss, will have on her. This book is one of those short 230 page feel-good reads that will melt your heart. The pirate life and the adventures aren't took bad either.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
I think a lot of you will agree with me on this one. The Fault in Our Stars is one of those books that will make you laugh and cry so many times in one night. I fell in love with Hazel's story. Hazel's life involved reading her favorite book and accepting life with cancer. One day during support group, she bumps into a young man named Augustus Waters and from then on, her life is forever changed. There were so many feels when reading this book and I highly recommend it and the movie.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
I've never really liked The Bachelor and The Bachelorette but I loved The Selection and the rest of the series. This book is like The Bachelor meets The Hunger Games minus the arena. Young women throughout the country sign up to be a part of The Selection, an event where 35 girls are chosen to live at the Palace and try to win the heart of the Prince. The people in this country live in castes and America Singer's family are Fives. Fives are seen as pretty low compared to the royal family who are Ones. Talked into signing up, America gets quite the surprise when she sees her picture on the screen. I absolutely love the story as I got to see America become who she is meant to be in this competition. I loved the romance between her and Prince Maxon. This series in general is such a breath of fresh air. I just finished reading Happily Ever After which is a companion to the series full of novellas and I can't wait to read The Heir which is book 4 in the series.
